		<description>I played with one of the remote electricity monitors recently, electric shower managed 9kw. Washing machine drew quite a lot when it was heating water.

I managed to reduce my electricity usage quite significantly (from 12kwH per day to 6kwH per day) by: replacing incandescent bulbs, switching off a second fridge, replacing white goods with most efficient versions and stopping using the tumble drier. Not sure how to reduce it much further, I could use the laptop instead of the desktop PC and use the electric shower less often.
