<description>I am a woman that has had catamenial epilepsy for just about my entire life. It started when I was 15, and ended when I was 45. The reason it ended was because I started taking low-egestrol birth control pills. I had an ovarian cyst, and my doctor gave me the pills to break it up. What I did not know was that progresterone could be used as an anti-convulsant. I&#039;m sure this could work for other women. It&#039;s been wonderful being seizure free.
