I get the feeling someone is extracting the urine, either that or they're the victims of a domain hijack by Oro electronics Ltd. Maybe they should simply emblazon Bob's initials on their machine as he has done! This increased tension will do work against gravity to lift the pendulum weight up. The pulse force itself is too small to lift the pendulum weight. In other words, we need to consider two energy terms when we apply a pulse force to a pendulum system. The first is the energy from the pulse force. The second is the energy lead out as a result of the tension of the string. This lead out energy has not be taught in any textbooks nor universities.
