Einstein goes into e-print

Einstein’s paper “Theoretical remark on the superconductivity of metals” has finally reached the electronic age and been submitted (in translated form) to the arxiv physics e-prints system. The 1922 paper was previously only published in German, now Bjoern Schmekel of the University of California at Berkeley has translated this seminal work and launched it into the world of twenty-first century publishing.
