The growing of plants that animals (including we high-minded humans) can eat (and drink) to burn as transport fuel is the most foolish thing upon which we have embarked. At its worst, it is a scam. Taxes were originally invented to support the excesses of the Lord and Lady of the Manor. No government has lost sight of this maxim. Good article. I’ll be short and not so sweet.
