Jonathan Goodman
My chemical colleague Jonathan Goodman was kind enough to allow me to syndicate Chem Inf Letts on the Sciencebase site, so I thought I’d give him another plug in the SciObs blog and see if we can knock the “other” JG off the search engines’ top slot for the Prof’s name. After all, a chemistry professor, in my humble opinion, is a far more relevant character for the search engine’s to list at number one than the other guy (even if he is a maths professor!)

Well, it’s many months, if not years, since we attempted to get Jonathan into the #1 slot. And it looks, from a quick search on various Google data centres that he’s lower than he was. I don’t think he can blame me, but I would suggest that a quick vanity search and a personal branding item on his site might do the trick. It worked for me, my own name is now #1 for David Bradley lover, David Bradley killer, David Bradley puller, David Bradley player, because of a post I wrote entitled, funnily enough, David Bradley Killer, Lover, Player, Puller
