NC woman is now insulin-free after series of three islet cell transplants
According to a press release published on Eurekalert on June 7, the wonders of medicine have allowed a female diabetic to be “insulin free”. Forgive me, but wouldn’t being “insulin free” make her a lot worse off? The Science Daily site which also carried the release verbatim, changed it’s headline to include the word “injection”. A little prick can make all the difference.
