Yes Robert, that’s exactly the kind of advice I’ve been trying to get across and I wholeheartedly agree those cheesy snack things simply taste of organic solvents to my palate so why would I want to eat them in the first place?

Considering the recent flurry of diet and obesity postings, and the comments they’ve elicited, I would like to share the mantra that has guided my quest for health and inner peace. The late Mike Royko once wrote: QUIT STUFFIN’ THAT GARBAGE IN YER FAT YAP AND CUT OUT THE HOOCH AND SMOKES! IT WOULDN’T HURT YA TO GET UP AND TAKE A WALK NOW AND THEN, EITHER! Well, maybe just cut back on the hooch. It hasn’t been too hard to follow, because if you think about it, stuff like cheesy poofs and pork rinds don’t really taste that good.

I had resigned myself to eating healthy most of the time comforted by the belief that I could indulge myself on occasion, but now that too has been taken away.

Ah well at least I was able to satisfy my inner gourmand while I was still ignorant.
