Open Chemistry Blog

Will Griffiths who started the open access chemistry journals search engine, ChemRefer.com, and whom I interviewed in Reactive Reports, the chemistry webzine, in 2006, has now partnered with Tony Williams’ team at ChemSpider.com to build a search engine service that will allow users to input structural and textual queries into a single search interface.

Griffiths recently inaugurated a blog on the Chemspider domain, Open Chemistry Web Blog, which brings up to four the ChemSpider site blogroll, joining Williams’ two blogs and my own chemistry news blog Spinneret.

One way to keep up to date with all ChemSpider blogs would be to roll them together into a single RSS feed, via Feedburner, Yahoo Pipes, or some similar method. More on that later.
