Your comment is pure spam Leif, it's got nothing to do with RSS awareness and mentions only that you have a website of your own. So, essentially, an advert for your site and nothing more. I've approved it just to highlight the kind of comments that are received in their thousands by websites around the world every day that are usually filtered out. Now, in return for my passing this one, I hope you've at least subscribed to the RSS feed, but more than that I'd be keen to hear your views on space as it pertains to any of the dozens of other posts on Sciencebase covering that topic. See you around...

Still stuck?

    * Go to www.Google.com/Reader
    * Sign up for an account
    * Click the “Add Subscription” link
    * Stick in your favorite blog’s URL
    * Hit Enter

Job done. And, if you're using Firefox as your browser (what else would you use it for?), then there's a Google extension/hack that will automate the process of adding any future feeds to Google Reader, so that as long as you're logged in a single click on an orange icon will do the job.

Just for the record I came up with an RSS awareness day campaign in the autumn of 2007, called Click and Orange, but it didn't really catch on. This version came from another blogger (at Daily Blog Tips) who has s set up a site specifically to discuss RSS and raise awareness. Still not convinced about subscribing? Well, look at this way, once you've got a fulltext RSS feed in your reader, whether that's Bloglines, Google Reader, My Yahoo, Thunderbird, or whatever, you need never visit that site again for its news (unless you want to comment, share, vote in polls, grab other resources, leave feedback, check out earlier posts and other sections, of course)

Hi

I am running a website on the exciting issue of space tourism. It is written in Swedish, but I have visitors from all over the world (rymdturism is the Swedish word for space tourism). On the site you can read news in the field of space tourism, look at videos, read some about the space tourism history, about spaceports and so on.

See you on the site
