Sporty Nanotubes

Integrating stiff carbon nanotubes into more traditional materials, such as polycarbonates, can dramatically improve the material’s ability to absorb vibrations, especially at high temperatures, according to US researchers. The discovery could lead to new composites for aerospace and automobile engineering applications as well as improving golf clubs and other sports equipment.     is this the same nano technology that is now being used for tennis and badminton rackets? i dont know how they improve the equipment performance wise but they sure push the prices up. thanks for the story!

    I don’t think this particular research has reached the market yet, but you can just picture the ads, and the price!
