Trevor Marshall Lecture
In a recent post I discussed briefly the association between so-called L-form bacteria, which have no cell wall, and the development of chronic disease, such as sarcoidosis, chronic fatigue syndrome, and fibromyalgia. Treatment based on long-term use of low levels of antibiotics and a reduced vitamin D regimen - the Marshall Protocol - have apparently generated lots of anecdotal evidence that L-form bacteria are to blame in many cases.
CFS sufferer Amy Proal (of the Bacteriality blog) who emailed to suggest I write about this area of medicine in the first place has now uploaded a lecture entitled - Molecular Mechanisms Driving the Current Epidemic of Chronic Disease - to Google and Youtube. You can now watch the video (part 1 of 8), which shows Trevor Marshall’s presentation to the 41st Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Environmental Medicine below. Follow the navigation here to watch subsequent episodes.
