Kestrel – Falco tinnunculus

I grew up knowing that an actor with my name (not that one, the one now called Dai) trained a raptor in the 1969 Ken Loach film Kes film of the 1968 book A Kestrel for a Knave by Barry Hines. How could I not have a soft spot for Falco tinnunculus?
