Chasing Wild Geese

I am gradually building a gallery of my bird photographs, I’ve got well over 100 species now and reasoned that it’s about time I put them into a book. A ten-bird sampler of “Chasing Wild Geese” is now available. Please email me at birds@sciencebase.com to receive a copy and to be added to the mailing list to receive additional information about the full book in due course.

The Bradley Bird Collection (BBC) grows almost daily with new species, males and females (when they’re sexually dimorphic, i.e. they look different), and juveniles and chicks. Birds are added as I see them whether in the garden, in local woodland, by the rivers, wetlands, and the coasts, on reserves, open countryside even in cities and towns.

Most of the recent photos have been taken with a canon 6D SLR carrying a 150-600mm Sigma lens. I am pleased with several of these shots which were first sightings of a particular species, such as bearded reedling (bearded tit), bittern, reed bunting, marsh tit, sedge warbler, marsh harrier and others.
